I first saw a Mac in late 1983. Apple sent a pair of prototypes to Beck-Tech where I worked. On arrival, they were stashed under my desk because Steve Beck had decreed that all efforts were to be devoted to the IBM PC and Apples were banned.


Late one Friday after knocking off, I opened one of the boxes, took out the computer and set it up on my desk. It was seriously cool!
